Tenure-Track Position in Applied or Computational Mathematics at Tufts University

The Department of Mathematics at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Applied or Computational Mathematics, beginning Fall 2027.

We are seeking outstanding candidates broadly working in applied and computational mathematics. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, AI-driven mathematical methods, scientific computing using modern computational tools, probability, optimization, and theoretical research with strong computational components. We are especially interested in candidates whose research has the potential to foster collaborations within the department and across Tufts University.

Tufts is located in the Boston metropolitan area and offers a vibrant environment for research and interdisciplinary collaboration.
