France: CPJ track toward tenured full professor

Host lab: LAMFA (CNRS UMR 7352), Université de Picardie Jules Verne 

Location: Campus Saint Leu, city center, Amiens, France

Research area: Mathematics for the life sciences

Goal: recruit a high-level mathematician for modeling or optimization tools applied to life sciences

Possible topics: PDE analysis, numerical analysis, stochastic modeling, scientific computing, or data science. 

Integration in A3 team with possible interactions with SymPA team (dynamical systems and probability)

Collaboration expected with UPJV and A2U partners in ecology, pharmacology, and medicine

Target profile: ass. prof at or near HDR level (~PhD+7yr)

Duration: 3 years CPJ contract.
After 3 years: conversion to tenured full professor if HDR is obtained and contract conditions are met

Funding: €200k ANR package + up to €100k from UPJV

Application opening: around September 2026 (Galaxie)
Position start: no later than January 2027
