China: Assistant Professor Position in Data Science & Machine Learning

The Mathematics and Intelligent Information Processing Group at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Shenzhen University, invites applications for one Assistant Professor position.

Qualifications:
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
1. The applicant should be under 35 years old in principle.
2. The applicant should be of Chinese nationality or Chinese origin.
3. The applicant should hold a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or Statistics, or have postdoctoral research experience in Applied Mathematics or Statistics.
4. Research interests should be in Data Science, particularly in one or more of the following areas:
 - Signal Processing
 - Computer Vision
 - Compressed Sensing
 - Machine Learning
 - Optimization

Salary and Benefits:
Competitive annual compensation package ranging from about RMB 400,000 to RMB 600,000 (before tax), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
